Janesville EducationAn Avenue of the Community Of the Saints Janesville & the University of Northern Iowa have a joint education collaboration, which allows Janesville students to work one on one with UNI professors and students. This program is an effort to "Prepare for Tomorrow's Challenges", and through our efforts it is our intention to become the "Midwest's Model Rural School". We are committed to teaching life skills. Upper elementary and junior high school students receive instruction in decision-making skills through the nationally recognized "Skills for Adolescents" program. Lower elementary students are involved in the companion program, "Skills for Growing". Our ACT scores are in the top half of the state's average. This achievement is due in large to our 13:1 student/teacher ratio and our commitment to excellence within our school system. STUDENT ACTIVITIES: - Athletics, 7-12
